The VPE report generator is available for the following operating systems and programming languages:

DLL /.so (C/C++, ...)

Python (projected)
Ruby (projected)

Note: Whilst providing the same API across all platforms, VPE provides the preview and printing capability for the Windows platform only. On all the other platforms use the integrated PDF Library to create PDF documents, so the preview and printing functionality is delegated via PDF to platform specific tools, like Acrobat Reader or Xpdf.
