Scale-To-Gray Technologie Für den Import von Bilddateien, insbesondere von schwarz / weiß Formularen mit der Möglichkeit zur Überlagerung: Wenn ein 300 oder 600 DPI Bild auf ein 96 DPI Ausgabegerät (z.B. Bildschirm) herunterskaliert wird, so entsteht durch den Informationsverlust ein schlecht lesbares Bild. Die Scale-To-Gray Technologie benutzt zwei verschiedene Bilder, eines für den Bildschirm (die Preview) und eines zum Audrucken. Das Bildschirm-Image mit 96 DPI Auflösung wird aus der hochauflösenden Bilddatei generiert, während dabei der Verlust an Informationen in Grauwerte transformiert wird. Dies bringt beste Darstellungsqualität und Lesbarkeit für Formulare am Bildschirm.
