How to print tab charactor in VPE

We are using VPE 3.50, it looks like VPE can not print tab (\t) character.
Is it true?

If not, what can we do? Thanks a lot in advance for any help.

The plain text object of VPE does not use tab characters.

Solution: Either use the RTF (Rich Text) object, which can render tab characters, or create a new plain text object on the desired tab position.
