Access violation VPEX32.dll

Today I get the error Access violation at address 017F05DE in module 'VPEX32.DLL'. Read of address 00000024
for all my applications using VPE. (ver 3.20)

I tried to reinstall VPE, but it had no effect. Do anyone have any idea what has happened?

Definitely no idea. Just a question: are you using the DLL or the ActiveX? If using the DLL, did you check if the handle returned by VpeOpenDoc() is not NULL?

Did you install any software packages shortly before the problem occurred?

Did you check your machine for viruses?

It was something with the default print driver. When I changed the default prionter to another one, it worked. After re-installing the print driver that caused the error, also that printer worked.

Which release of VPE v3.20 are you using?

The release number is the last number of the vpex32.dll version number (right click on the DLL and click on Properties and then on Version).
