DLL name of the 64 bit version

I installed the community edition of version 7.2, 32-bits and 64-bits version.

I noticed that the name of the dll is the same for both versions (vpec3272.dll), is this correct?

Should be the name of the 64-bit version vpec6472.dll?

This is the right way to do it. You will also notice that Microsoft does it.

The 64-bit DLLs go to windows\system32
The 32-bit DLLs go to windows\SysWOW64

This way you can develop software without changing imported DLL names. BTW it is not the purpose of this forum to explain the Windows operating system or other things, which are not related to VPE.
