VPE V6 Crash in .NET

We have been using VPE with the DLL interface for a long time. Recently i thought i'd play with using it from .NET

a simple sample and it crashes as soon as the preview is shown. As long as i dont write anything to the document the preview shows but if i just write a simple text the preview window appears and then the app exits

same thing happens to the demo programs as well

Whilst no one ever reported such a problem with v6, please use the most current version when reporting bugs.

v6 is from the year 2010 and no longer supported.

actually just realized even the compiled sample programs do not run either

Yes, this is VPE6 not 7 but it is odd that nothing would run at all, no?
