Email from Preview appears as Low Priority

Hello,
we recently upgraded VPE from version 4.0 to 6.1 and added some functionality (OnVPEBeforeMail, AddRecipient, others).
Now, when clicking the email button in the Preview, the email shows up with PRIORITY set to LOW, and users have to reset it to normal which is an annoyance. Note that this happens with Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, 2010 (32bit), but not with Outlook Express (which shows priority as normal).
We are stumped about this since there is no flag in VPE that would allow to set or change the mail priority.
Is this a known issue, or do you have any clue as to what could be happening?

This is fixed in the next release, the priority will be "normal". It will be released within a few weeks.

If the fix takes too long to come out - was the priority set to "normal" in VPE version 6.0 ? If yes we might revert to that version.

VPE v6.0 does not use Extended MAPI, but Simple MAPI to send mails. These are two completely different APIs. As far as we know, the priority is "normal" with Simple MAPI.

any news about this...

I use VPE: 6.10 Prof. with
Outlook 2007 as default mailer
works perfect to send, but the mails are low priority

(with Lotus Notes as default mailer the mails are normal priority)

The service release is delayed due to work on the upcoming 64-bit version. In addition there had been very special problems of a few customers, which we wanted to solve first, but which required months of e-mail conversations (including a final remote debugging session from Germany to San Diego, USA). We expect to release the service release within a few weeks from now.
