VPE Error

Postby IDEAL Software Support » Thu Nov 18, 2004 6:27 pm

I get the following error, "The VPE document is open. The document needs to be closed prior to this operation", when I use VPE control for preview/printing. This error only happens when it try to print the second blank page. However, when I remove the \par from the end of the document, it works fine. Do anyone know how \par is being used when VPE calculate the number of pages? Has anyone experienced with this error before?

Thank for your help.

This error message appears if you call OpenDoc() while the document is already open. Something in your code goes wrong.

\par is an RTF keyword and means that a new paragraph shall be started. If the current paragraph is on the bottom of a page, this might cause a page break.
