Konica 7013 and VPE 3.20.0.1

Hi,

we use a KONICA 7013-Network-Printer and get a problem with VPE
3.20.0.1

DevPaperHeight and DevPaperWidth for this printer is 254 and
DevYResolution = 0.

When using a other printer (e.g. HP Laserjet 4050) we get correct
values.

When reading the corresponding values with GetDeviceCaps, we get
following value:

HORZRES = 4760
VERTRES = 6814
LOGPIXELSX = 600
LOGPIXELSY = 600

We use XP with all Fixes/Updates installed

Can you reproduce this problem?

For technical reasons, VPE does not use GetDeviceCaps to return the desired values - GetDeviceCaps is independent from a selected form / paper format and can't be used. It seems the printer driver does not fill some structure correctly. However, you can try the VPE v3.50 Trial-Version to see if it returns usable values, since it has implemented some workarounds for such buggy drivers.
