Opera

Postby Brutus » Fri Sep 19, 2008 1:53 pm

Hi,

I'm using Opera as my web browser. When I try to open a page that is supposed to display something with VPE, I do not see anything.

With Internet explorer, I have a yellow bar that make me install something to view the page. But I don't have this choice with Opera.

Is the a compatibiliy between Vpe and Opera? If yes, can you tell me what to do so that I can display my page.

Thanks
Brutus

The website you are browsing is using the VPE ActiveX control. The Activex technology is a proprietary technology of Microsoft and is only supported within Internet Explorer on Windows platforms (plus many software development tools, like Visual Basic, etc.).

We suggest you contact the people which created and maintain the website. Please inform them about your problem and that the solution is to use the PDF export feature of VPE. Using PDF export, they can create the document on the server and send it via HTTP to your browser. This is platform and browser independent.
