Fatal picture problem in VPE 4.0 R2 and R3

I have updated VPE 4.0 with the newest releases (R2 and R3) and now pictures (.gif and .jpg) are no longer displayed. Only a cross is displayed. I use the DLL vpep3240.dll Professional version. If I use the R1 vpep3240.dll, I have no problems with pictures.

Your error description is too vague. Since the vpedemo.exe shipped with VPE Professional Edition v4.0 R3 does display JPEG images, there is no general problem in VPE. Can you please describe in detail what you are doing? Can you reproduce the problem in a small sample program? If so, please e-mail us the small program together with sample images.

Sorry, the problem is only related to GIF pictures. If you replace the jpg pictures in the vpedemo program, you will see no pictures.
