We are constantly improving our code, so that changes were made which solve other problems. Indeed, in your case it causes a new problem, but the question is how many customers are affected by this and how many customers do profit from the change.

As explained in my previous mail, the change was that the flag VMAIL_RESOLVE_NAME is no longer used by VPE automatically. So my first advice is to use this flag and to see, if it solves the problem.

We tried your solution, but it only works if the mail receiver is in the mail client's address book ....

In our cases, we need to use external e-mail adresses (unknown in the mail client's adress book).

I have also talked to the responsible developer. He said he has no problem in sending mails with Outlook. He mentioned that you can configure the message format in Outlook and that you can switch between HTML, RTF and Plain Text.

So my next suggestion would have been to check this setting, but it seems you found it yourself?

In fact, we had already set this option before testing. What made us think that the internet format was forced during the VPE process ....

At least, we are satisfied whit the last solution you gave us.
