RTF and images

Images can be used in RTF-Text, but VPE ignores images within RTF.

Is there any releas-plan for this feature??

Currently there are no plans to implement such a feature. VPE's capabilities of importing (and exporting) external images are very powerful. Therefore VPE's Rich Text handling is limited to handling the textual part of RTF documents.

Ok, no image in RTF, but what about html-output for emails? Any solutions or tips?

HTML is not powerful enough to display complex VPE documents. For this reason we decided to implement the PDF Export Module. PDF can be viewed platform-independently in Browsers or as e-mail attachments and VPE can export documents 1:1 to PDF without any restrictions.

If you are asking because you want the ability to edit documents: PDF documents are editable. In addition you can use our visual designer "dycodoc" to edit directly VPE documents - which can be created by calling WriteDoc().

The answer is the same as before: VPE's Rich Text handling is limited to handling the textual part of RTF documents.

VPE v4.0 will not import images within RTF and we have currently no plans to do so.
