IDEAL Software plans to release dycodoc v2.0 and Virtual Print Engine v4.0 in the mid / end of 2006.

any new information about this?

Things are delayed for many reasons. VPE v4.0 will be released in a few months and dycodoc v2.0 later.

Hi,

I read about the Linux and Solaris ports of VPE... so that makes me wonder what effect this will have on the not officially announced VPE 4.0 and DCD 2.0

The porting work is the reason for the delay. We must make sure that the API, internal mechanisms as well as file structures are consistent over all platforms.

dycodoc v2.0 and the Enterprise Edition will even be released later than the Standard, Enhanced and Professional Editions.

Does this mean that we should not expect these new version (DCD 2.0 and Enterprise edition) before Q3 2007?
