Email button doesn't work

Hello,
Since I switched from Outlook 2007 to the 2013 version, the Email button doesn’t work anymore and it did work before.
What can we do to fix this?
Would the VPE 6 version fix the problem?
I’m currently using the VPE 4 version and generate my report with Active X for Internet Explorer.
The computer we’re trying to use it on is on the Windows 7 Pro version 32 bits with Outlook 2013/32 bits.

The current version v6.10 should fix the problem. You can verify it by downloading the trial version. It can be installed safely side-by-side with your old version.

It should be possible. But using any ActiveX in Internet Explorer is EVIL, it is non-standard.

We strongly recommend you change the document flow of your application, so that you create PDF files with VPE on the server and send the PDF to the client browser. This way you will support any type of browser, including smartphones and tablets.

If I create PDF files with VPE on the server and send the PDF to the client browser, I will lost the email button and the email button is a very nice feature of VPE.

Good afternoon,

I upgrade to VPE version 6.1 and the email button works on all work desk already installed but now I have 2 new employees for whom the button doesn’t work on Windows version 8 and 8.1. The button is not disabled.
When we click on it, we get the error message : « Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.»

Could you please provide a solution for this problem?
