Print Status Window

Postby IDEAL Software Support » Tue Nov 23, 2004 5:04 pm

Hi,
I have a VB.net Windows Form app. It monitors a folder and looks
for files to print using the VPE activeX control. The form is
invisable and displays only as a NotifyIcon at the bottom right
statusbar. This is meant to run on the console of a server.

Everything is invisable except.. when I file is printing a small
window pops up that says VPECTRL - (my app name) with a display of
the pages being sent to the printer and a Cancel button.

Is there some way (some property to set) so this does not display?

I'm using version 2.2 od VPE.

Thanks,
John

This is not possible with v2.20, but with the current v3.50 of VPE with:

Doc.PrintOptions = PRINT_ALL + PRINT_NOABORTDLG

See the property PrintOptions for details.
