Problems with Greyscale Line Print

Hi,

We have a VPE document that we've created that contains light grey lines underneath black text, but the grey lines are printing as solid black.

We've checked the printer settings by exporting the VPE document to PDF via the VPE Preview window, and Acrobat will print the lines as grey to the same printer.

The document displays in the VPE Preview fine, (either via VPE View or as an ActiveX object embedded in Foxpro) with black text and light grey lines, but the printer is still outputting solid black lines.

Any ideas ?

If you look at the "Speed + Tables" demo, shipped with VPE inlcuding source code, you will notice that the grey background is printed fine, including the text above.

If you are using darker grey values, the printer driver might turn it to black or rasterize it to an ugly pattern.
