Easy to "hang" VPE 4 ?

Hi all

I'm new to VPE and am using the DLL from Visual Dataflex 12.1

I'm just having a play with the various commands and obiously sending the occasional wrong value

For example if you do ....

Move (VpeSetOutRect(hDoc, 3,3,3,3)) to rVoid

and then try and use VpeWrite it just hangs on the
write function call

In this particular case I now realise that the page is
in effect of zero size but it shouldn't cause it to
lock up/hang surely ?

have people developed thier own code so that any calculated sizes/positions don't cause a complete system lockup ?

Checking the validity of parameters costs performance. Therefore it is left to the responsibility of the developer, who is using VPE.

Only for clarification: this is not causing a complete system lockup, it just consumes a lot of CPU time.
