VPEP 6.0 or 6.1 on Windows Server 2003 R2

Is VPEP 6.0 or 6.1 supported to run on Windows Server 2003 R2?

We are using the dll from Progress OpenEdge, it works fine on Windows Server 2008 but one of our customer is running Windows Server 2003.
Since VPEP 6.0 and 6.1 didn't work I tried to use VPEP 3.6 and that worked fine on Windows Server 2003.

I tried both VPEP 6.0 and 6.1 and I get the following error message the first time I try to write something to the document.

VPE runs on Windows Server 2003 R2.

Did you notice the changes of the VPE API in the transition from v3.60 to v4.0 and later? For example that coordinates are now of type double instead of integer?
