DycoDoc 2.2 and VPE 6.0

Hello,

when using Templates created with DycoDoc 2.2 in Applications using VPE 6.0 ActiveX there come up an API Error. When using the VPE 6.1 ActiveX everything runs fine. Do i have to update on every workstation the VPE Control (this will be much work) or is there an workaround?

Files created by older versions of dycodoc or VPE can always be read by newer versions of the software, but files created with newer versions of dycodoc or VPE can not be read by older versions of the software - old software versions can not know about new features.

So the answer is: you need to update VPE to v6.10 on all machines which do process templates created by dycodoc v2.20.
