Print Code 128

Hello,

I printed an Barcode 'Code 128' like

Code: Select all

VPEDoc.Barcode(1,2,6,5, BCT_EAN128, 'SD00000063','');

The Barcode locks good, but he is not recognized by any Scanner.
I compare them with an Online Generator for 'Code 128'.
My printed Barcode looks different to this (right) Barcode.
Whats wrong? Any idea?

ps: I have tested with the current demo-version
(for development I use version 3.5)

We have no problem in scanning the barcode - taken exactly from your sample code - with two scanners.

It looks different than Code 128, since it is EAN 128 (GS1-128) and has an additional control code, so the bars look different.

The test project has already been deleted and we are not going to compare images.

The point is that we can scan the generated barcode with two different barcode scanners. So the barcode is ok. The question is: why can't you scan the barcode - what is wrong with your barcode scanner?

When I look at your image: You should remove the frame around the barcode. This will irritate every barcode scanner. Set PenSize = 0 before creating the barcode.
