Setting the lineheight in RTF

Postby nc1264 » Tue Jun 29, 2010 2:43 pm

I want to place lines within a paragraph closer to each other. I have seen that the \sl<num> can be used for this but I'm not clear how to make this work.

When I print text and use \sl1000, \sl0 or sl-1000 I see no difference in the output.
The manual also does not state how to do this:
\sl <num> Space between lines; if this control word is missing or if \sl1000 is used, the line spacing is automatically determined by the tallest character in the line; else this size is used only if it is taller than the tallest character

Is there to make the lines be shown closer to each other? I want to reduce the space between the lines.

Thanks in advance!

This means you can not make the line height smaller than technically possible. Otherwise an "Ä" would touch a "g" in the line above.

As this is a special case I do not place the text using writeboxrtf directly.

I first determine the lines that are present and then print the text per line. This enables me to determine the line height myself. The overlap risk is only for the brackets (). I'm looking for a different font that does use the same height.
Problem is solved. Thanks for you input!
