how is the work with the 64 bit version proceeding?
When will it be available?

The demand for 64-bit support for Windows is very low. It is planned to release a 64-bit version in the first half of the next year. With what programming language are you working?

Good evening

Any news on that?
When exactly it will be available or is it already?

I have a few customers which bought new laptops with a 64bit Windows System and now the application crashes on launch.
Thus, they can not work anymore, even just data entry and its rather urgent to have a solution.
My applications are developed with VB.NET both 2005 & 2008

Kind regards
Esperanza

VPE is currently not available as 64-bit module, it will be released later this year.

Workaround: Compile your application as 32-bit. It runs on Win64.

Good afternoon

Thank you for your answer.
I tried it already and it works perfect.
That will help us a lot for the coming months.

Have a nice weekend

Greetings!

I'm afraid this workaround does not work for us. In order to comply with the host framework (AutoCAD) we need to supply 64-bit, and only 64-bit, modules. I hope that the Win64 version of VPE isn't to far away time wise since we're generally quite pleased with the features and performance of VPE and therefore have no desire to look into other solutions.

Thank you for your efforts.
