Clip area by drawing

Is there any possibility in VPE to specify a clip area when drawing objects. The part of the objects that are inside the clip area should really be drawn, the part outside should not.

For instance, I need to draw a part of a circle. A workaround, when the whole circle is inside the paper, is to cover the part that shall not be shown with a white object, but when my circle is at the edge of the paper and part of it is drawn outside, that method does't work. Then you see this covering object in preview.

Clipping is not supported.

Just in case: if you are trying to draw boxes with rounded corners, you should update to VPE v4.0, which offers rounded corners.
