Problems in Printing

Postby jonschide » Tue Apr 25, 2006 1:11 pm

Hi all,

we have problems between what we are writing in a VpeDocument and what you can see in the preview or the printed document or a written PDF-File.

We are using the vpep3236.dll.

It seems that vpe writes some objects two times on different positions and another object, which shall be on one of those positions, is not there.
For example:

we write a line such as

Menge: 5 m 8 40 €

but we see

Menge: 5 m 8 € €

this line is printed using 4 VpeWrite-commands with VpeGet(VTOP) as y-Position.

This happens when we print a RTF-File before and this RTF-File computes an automatic pagebreak and the line shown above is the first line after printing the rtf-file.

Any ideas

I don't think this is a problem of VPE.

VPE prints text exactly where you tell it to print. I suggest you check in your debugger the coordinates you are supplying to VPE to find the problem in your code.

The coordinates we are supplying are OK.
I can send you a mail with a PDF-Doc, where you can see what i mean.

Please send a VPE document file to our support address (don't forget the keyword "VPE" in the subject to pass our spam filters).
