embed javascript into PDF

Postby SuperChicken » Sun Jan 29, 2006 12:08 pm

Hi, I'm quite new to Dycodocs and VPE. So if I'm heading in the wrong direction here, please let me know.

I have a good javascript that creates PDF417 barcodes (2d barcode) at print time, and I can embed the javascript into a PDF document from within Acrobat.

I'd like to be able to embed the javascript into the pdf from within the dycodocs / vpe system. Is this possible?

Also is it possible to design PDF forms that can be filled out by a user with Acrobat reader?

Thanks, I appreciate your help.

This is not possible. But the next release of VPE will be capable of generating PDF417 barcodes directly, including export to PDF documents.

This is not possible, but might be addressed in a later release of VPE Interactive Edition.
