RadioButton description

Hi,

i have a document (dumped from a template) in the preview.
How can i access the description of a radiobutton control (defined in the template) in the event OnAfterFieldChange?

The description is intended to be used within dycodoc only. It is not available as a property in the template.

May I ask, for what reason you wish to access the description?

Beside the numeric-GroupValue i want a text (a short description or an additional info) of the checked RadioButton for further taks.
An alphanumeric-GroupValue would be the best solution.

My workaround is to place additional textcontrols on the document, that names are related to the radiobutton-names.
It's not very user-friendly!

A solution would be, to store additional information inside your code (or an external text file, which is read by code) within a lookup-table.

My templates are created and maintained by a separate department via dycodoc.
It is necessary in our workflow to keep the (textual)content of the templates detached from code or other external resources.
Thank you for your suggestion, but it is no option for me.

I see. We will put this onto the wishlist for the next version. Unfortunately we can not implement it within a service release, because it requires API and template file structure changes.
