QR Code Questions

I am adding QR Codes to several documents and have two questions.

1. The documentation refers to Encoding Modes and Error Correction Capacity. These modes are automatically set 'for best encoding'. Is there any way to override these settings?

2. VpeQRCode(hDoc,x,y,x2,y2, Text) -- has a quiet zone surrounding the code, is there a way to set the size of the quiet zone, or turn it off? Accurate placement and sizing of the code is difficult since the position (x, y) and size are for the quiet zone, not the QR-Code image. (Alternately, is there a formula for computing the size of the quiet zone?)

Please see the "Reference Manual", section "Barcodes (2D)". There you will find the list of properties and methods provided for the QR code generation.

The properties related to your questions are:
- QRCodeEccLevel
- QRCodeMode

and
- QRCodeBorder

Please note that the VPE Control Reference has an error for the description of the default value, it says: "0 = autromatic". It should read: "0 = VBAR2D_QRCODE_ECC_LEVEL_L". This has been fixed here right now and will be made available with the next release.
