Preview and button behaviour

Postby kawasakis » Fri Apr 04, 2014 8:19 am

Hello, my problem is the following:
When we show the print in the preview, you have buttons above.
With giving a parameter some value , you can exclude some buttons to show in the preview.
We saw that there were added 2 buttons (open and save),when changing from 3.6 to 6.1, so we excluded them, so that it doesnt show in the preview.
But even if they are not shown you still can execute them by using ctrl-O for instance for opening.
The same with the save button, and also the help button.
Even if the help button is excluded, still when pushing F1 gives you back the help screen and on that screen also those other buttons you exclude , can be chosen.

Is it possible to change this. I mean : if we dont show buttons in the preview, that you also not allow to use the short-cuts representing those actions.

The visibility of the toolbar or the toolbar buttons is not connected to the keyboard shortcuts.

To disable - or to redefine - keyboard shortcuts, see the method DefineKey().

sorry for the late answer, but i have tried it and it works like you told me.
Thank you very much for your solution.
Concerning this preview , i still have something strange going on.
When clicking on the button in the preview to make the document smaller, it does this by only clicking on that button.
But when clicking on the button to make the preview bigger it does nothing , only when moving the mouse on the document, then you can
click to make the document bigger.
I just mention this because in the previous version 3.6 it was not like that.

If you are used to the zoom-utility as it was in v1.0 until v3.60, it is "unusual" now.

But in v4.0 we added some more functionality to the +zoom-tool: when it is activated, you can click-and-drag with the mouse within the preview to draw a rectangle. The preview will then zoom into the rectangular area. Furthermore you can right-click to zoom out while the +zoom tool is active. The third point is that - while the zoom-tool is active - the zoom in and out functions center the preview at the position where you right/left-click.
