Will the RTF functionality be expand in the next version?

For example: embedded images.

The next version of VPE will not change the RTF parser. We have no plans to enhance the RTF parser in the foreseeable future to support embedded images. We understand RTF as a method to change the font and paragraph attributes of running text on-the-fly within a single text object.

If you wish to enable your end-users to create complete documents, with images and such, using the keyboard and mouse, then you should use our visual designer dycodoc, which is included in the Enterprise Edition of VPE. dycodoc may be distributed to end-users royalty-free.
