Problem with VPE_AFTER_PRINT

I am using Version 610 with 'Mozilla Thunderbird' and just noticed that the VPE_AFTER_PRINT event is fired as soon as the email client window appears, _not_ after the email is sent. Is this normal operation?

I think you rather mean VPE_AFTER_MAIL instead of VPE_AFTER_PRINT. Yes, it is normal that the event is fired when the mail client opens the message-compose window. This is so, because the operation is asynchronous, i.e. Thunderbird (or any other mail client) is running in parallel to VPE / your app without blocking. The event is sent, when VPE has finished transferring the mail to the mail client.

For choosing between several printouts, I open a panel from my order entry view and press a button on the panel for previewing the desired document. To minimize mouse clicking, I then close the panel by a program statement which means that the order entry view will be focused hiding the preview. Is there a way to bring the preview to the front in this situation?
