VPE 6.1 with Windows 8.1 / VS2012 / V2013?

Win 8.1 / VS 2013:
We do not make statements regarding compatibility with products that are not officially released.

Of course you are free to install and test our trial-versions against any of the above products.

VS 2012 was released in August 2012, and VPE v6.0 is from April 2011, so we didn't test it.

But there is no reason, why it shouldn't be compatible.

Hello,

today it mad a test.

My (older) VB6 application which includes VPE 4.0 run on Windows 8.1 64 bit without error.
My (older) VB6 application which includes VPE 6.0 does not run on Windows 8.1 64 bit.
My new VB.NET (VB2012) application whicht includes VPE 6.0 does not run on Windows 8.1 64 bit.

When does the "new" version for Windows 8 64 Bit releases?

VPE v6.0 and the initial v6.10 are not compatible with Win 8 / 8.1.

In October 2012 we released VPE v6.10 R1, which is compatible with Win 8 / 8.1.

Using VPE v6.10 R1, you can also run .NET applications on 64-bit Windows, by specifying in the project options of your application that 32-bit code shall be generated.

The 64-bit version of VPE will be released in about 2 months.

Where can i download the 6.10 R1? On your download site i just fond the 6.10.

I have bought V 4.0 and V 6.0 years ago. Is there a little discount if i buy the 6.10 too ?
