Email problem after updgrade VPE 6.0 -> 6.1

After we upgraded from 6.0 to 6.1 click on E-mail button want call the Outlook. But the default email client is Mozilla Thunderbird.

You need to configure Windows to use the right mail client. You can do this in the system control panel.

It is configured. The default email client is the Thunderbird.
With VPE 6.0 it work well.

v6.10 R1 contains several patches to make it use the default mail client. Not using the default mail client is not what users do expect.

The VPE we bought in 2010. We have not active subsciption.
It means that if we want to use this function - which is working perfectly in the previous version - in continue, we have to buy the VPE one more time?

It was not working perfectly in the previous version. There was a serious problem with Extended MAPI support.

And yes, it means you need to acquire a new license. But since you did not prolong the yearly subscription for two years, it is cheaper to acquire a new license now.
