Licencing V4.00 R2

Postby KHentschel » Sat May 17, 2008 4:54 pm

Hello IDEAL Software,

i'm a user of VPE Professional and downloaded the new R2 Release from your Customer Web Portal. Previously i have to fill in the Licence Key in the Installation Prozess. Now no Question is coming up. When i call a Form (Visual FoxPro) and try to put a VPE Controll on it the system tell me someting about "a NO licence". What is going wrong here?

My Question is where i have to say the system that i have a Proffesional licence.

Thanks

If the setup does not ask for a license key, you have downloaded the trial version. The full version can be downloaded by registered customers with an active subscription through our web portal.

Please login at our portal. Afterwards you can view the licenses keys of your active subscription(s) and download the most current full version.

I have no idea. We did log-in to your account with your credentials and could download the full version. The setup.exe asked for the key.

is there any registry left, maybe from a community release install (or maybe trial version install) that is to be deleted before i can install the vpep32.exe?

Normally, it should not matter, whether the system is "fresh" or not. Maybe there is a problem in the installer, we will check this.

However, if you uninstall VPE and install it afterwards, it will always ask for the license key.

NO, the Installer do not ask me!!! I have tried it several times. Maybe i have installed the community once before and after this i will not asked for the Key any more.

I do not know what i have to do now.

When uninstalling, the uninstaller deletes everything which is related to VPE. We will check this issue.
