Loading RTF

Postby Obernier » Mon Oct 29, 2007 5:41 pm

Using the writeRTF function to load RTF Files from a Progress software, we get a prowin32.
it occurs after loading the same RTF File 2 or 3 times.

Consequently, we have to shut down the all process software ....

It may appear that the writeRTF function doesn't deal very well with the memory ressources ...

What does the "prowin32" exactly mean? This is Progress specific.

If you think this is a bug in VPE, please e-mail us a sample RTF file together with the call to the RTF function you are using (including the values of all coordinates). When e-mailing, please don't forget the keyword "VPE" in the subject.

Finaly we found the solution. It was a Progress problem.
We used a char variable, and the content we put in it was too large.
We have to use a longchar.

thanks for your help.
