Losing pictures in preview

We inserted a few pictures in a VPE document and after choosing the sending email option (whether we send it or not) and coming back in the preview, if we go on another page than the currently displayed page, our pictures are lost.
If we print our document, the pictures are lost too.

We are using VPE 3.10 and when calling the pictures function we are using absolute paths. Our email software is Outlook 2003.

Do you have any ideas about how to resolve this problem ?

We can not investigate this problem, because v3.10 is about 7 years old and is no longer supported. Please update to the current version.
